A story waiting to be told
In 2024, after a seven-year hiatus, the festival has grown into a nationally recognised cultural event and a hub for regional creative activity attracting authors, readers, and partners from across the country.
Our 2024 and 2025 festivals delivered sold-out sessions, national media coverage, and a regional and national audience of engaged, high-value consumers. These results show that partnering with our festival is more than feel good philanthropy – it’s strategic engagement in a trusted, prestigious environment.
Looking ahead to 2026 and 2027, we are offering exclusive two-year partnerships that puts you at the heart of one of Northern Queensland’s most celebrated cultural events.
This is your opportunity to maximise visibility, strengthen community connections, and align with creativity, cultural, and community leadership.

- 2026: This year we are focusing on nurturing local writers, creating flagship community family events.
- 2027 & Beyond: We will be launching a vibrant, year-round calendar of author tours, literary events, and crucial community visits and literacy projects including our unique national programs like Love Letter to Queensland.
