Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, A. L. Tippett has now made her home in tropical North Queensland.

She started writing her first novel when she was twelve but abandoned it after deciding that being an author wasn’t a “real” job and therefore not worth pursuing.

After working for seven years as an insurance broker, followed by the birth of her two beautiful children, she rediscovered her passion for storytelling.

Her titles include The MINATH Chronicles — The Dragon’s Mind, The Dragon’s Body and The Dragon’s Soul — and Mother Trucking Monsters (Book 1 of The Magic and Motherhood Series).

Her latest urban fantasy novel features a solo mum who struggles to make ends meet, along with druids, dragons, a tawny frogmouth, and the Big Mango in Bowen!
