Single day, single session, and special event tickets will be released at a later date.
Your 3-day full program Festival ticket includes:
- Early Bird ticket holders are Whitsundays Writers Festival VIPs with preferred up-front seating at Festival events and an exclusive invitation to a reception with Festival speakers (for tickets purchased prior to 31 May).
- Friday and Saturday program at the Whitsunday Sailing Club of author keynotes and conversations with arrival, morning, and afternoon tea. Lunch is not included Friday and Saturday, so you are free to explore Airlie Beach cafes and restaurants within walking distance or pre-purchase a variety of meals from the Festival Tuck Shop.
- Friday evening Poetry Karaoke cocktail event with light refreshments and two free drink vouchers.
- Saturday Big Book Club High Tea at My Rainbow Bakery featuring Sally Hepworth and Kristy Manning. Tickets are strictly limited to the first 100 registrations. High Tea included and selected coffee, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
- Saturday Sundowner early evening event with light refreshments and two free drink vouchers.
- Your choice of Sunday practical workshops with arrival and morning tea.
- Sunday Local Author Long Lunch at the Whitsunday Marine Club with light lunch and two free drink vouchers.

Calling all local authors!
Are you a local Whitsundays author? If so, you will be able to sell your titles through the official Festival Bookshop. Local authors who purchase a 3-day ticket can pay an additional $100 (plus GST) to become a Featured Local Author and receive a number of exclusive benefits, a national platform to promote their books, and go into the running to be selected as a showcase author at the Festival’s closing event – the Local Author Long Lunch. For planning and promotional purposes, the Featured Local Author offer must close Sunday 30 June 2024.
